Why use fillable forms?
Fillable and click-able worksheets are ideal for counselors working virtually with clients via telehealth or those that use tablets or other electronic devices during sessions. Fillable worksheets are PDF files that can be completed and saved to a device electronically. These worksheets can be typed into directly and check boxes are able to be clicked with the use of a mouse or finger.
Once completed, the worksheet can either be printed out, saved to the device, or sent electronically. Each fillable form can still be used in its traditional format and be printed for in-session use with clients.

Keep in mind that not all of Mylemarks worksheets are fillable or clickable. Some of our worksheets require in-person interactions with the client, and some are informational handouts that do not require completion by the client.
How do I use this with clients?
If you use a tablet or laptop in your work with clients, you can pull up the fillable form on your device and it can be completed without the need to print it out. Clients are also able to fill out the forms on their phones.
Fillable forms can also be sent to clients to complete during the week and emailed back prior to meeting. During telehealth sessions, the forms can be completed virtually via screen share so that they can be viewed by both client and counselor.

How does this work?
Fillable worksheets will have [F] in the title of the resource.
Once purchased, in order to access the fillable and clickable functions, the PDF must be opened using a PDF reader (Adobe, Foxit, etc.) which is available on most devices. **If the PDF is opened and completed in an internet browser, you will be able to complete the form, but once downloaded, all of the information may be lost. It is recommended to first save the resource to your device and then view it on a PDF Reader. The fillable sections will appear as lightly shaded shapes on the page. (1) If the directions are for the child to check, then a checkmark will appear by clicking on the box that appears next to the content. (2) This section can be typed into directly. |
Once completed, the worksheet can be saved to the device. This can be accessed by selecting File and then Save As or by clicking Shift+Ctrl+S. This will then provide you an option of where to save the copy on your device.
Once saved, all the information will remain in the PDF form and can be further edited when re-opened. **If you select Save as opposed to Save As, the completed version may overwrite your blank file. By selecting Save As, you are able to preserve the blank copy to use with other clients. |
