Mylemarks Licensing Options

​Purchase of a License is not transference of ownership.  Copyright and ownership remain with Mylemarks. 
​Purchasing of a License allows use of the Resource in adherence with the terms listed below.

Hi there! Please read more about the licensing options that we offer. Most of our customers fall under the Individual License scenario.  This means that you're just looking for resources to use with your clients.  For those of you that are looking to be able to share the purchased resources with colleagues or to distribute multiple copies as part of an event or publication, take a look at our Organizational and Enhanced Licenses.  Please note that the licenses only indicate how you use the resources after purchase. ​They do NOT grant unlimited access to the resources.

​Use this license if you...
are purchasing the resources for yourself to use with your clients or students on your caseload.  You can make an unlimited amount of copies for your individual use only with clients.  You are prohibited from sending or sharing the files with others.
How much is this license?
FREE.  When you purchase a resource, you are automatically granted an individual license. ​

Lifetime

​What steps do I take?
Just purchase the resource you'd like and you are good to go!
​Use this license if you...
work for an organization, agency, practice, or district that would like the purchased resources to be shared by multiple members of the same organization for their individual use. 

​For example, you are a counselor for a group practice and would like to share purchased Mylemarks resources with your colleagues.  Instead of each counselor needing to make an individual purchase of the same resource, you can use this license and freely send and share files to other counselors within  your practice.

One license covers an organization and is eligible to all the Mylemarks' products purchased by that organization.​  Keep in mind that items will still need to be purchased from the website.  This license does not grant unlimited access to resources.

​What steps do I take?
Add the resources you'd like to the cart as well as the Organizational License. 

​Once purchased, you will be granted the license on a conditional basis. Included in your download will be a PDF form to complete and submit to inform us of your organization name for our records.

​Use this license if you...
want to include a resource as part of an expansive curriculum, a school or community event, or a marketing initiative where the resource will be distributed to 50 or more individuals. Each resource used would require its own license.

​​​For example, you are hosting a mental health fair for your school.  You want to make multiple copies to distribute to participants.  

For example, you are developing a school-wide bullying program and are looking to incorporate a resource into the materials.

Lifetime for the licensed resource.

Add the resources you'd like to the cart as well as the Enhanced License. 

​Once purchased, you will be granted the license on a conditional basis.  Included in your download will be a PDF form to complete and fax/e-mail to inform us how the resource is being used.

Individual License 

Every purchase made on the website (www.mylemarks.com) automatically grants you an Individual License.  An Individual License is a license that may only be assigned to a single specific individual user (“Assignee”) for that Assignee’s lifetime use. Individual Licenses are non-transferable and may not be used by or reallocated to a different Assignee (for example, a person who purchases an Individual License can use such Resource for her or his lifetime but cannot transfer use of such Resource to another individual).  Mylemarks grants the individual Assignee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Resource for the purposes and under the conditions described below.

An Individual License permits you to:
  • Use the Resource for personal, educational, and instructional use only (“Personal Use”). This means you can use Resources for your own personal purposes, for your individual study, and to teach, counsel, or mentor an individual, class, or a small group.
  • Print and make copies of downloadable Resources as necessary for Personal Use. Copies may be made and provided to your clients, students, aides, and interns as necessary. Copies may also be made for parents, supervisors, or school administrators for review purposes only.

Unless otherwise expressly permitted by Mylemarks:
  • You may not use the Resource for commercial purposes. Resource may not be resold, used for advertising or marketing purposes, distributed, or used in any other way in connection with a business or profit-making activity.
  • You may not post or otherwise make the Resource available on any website.  You may include an image of Resource so long as Mylemarks is credited and a link is provided to www.mylemarks.com or corresponding Resource page.  You may not make Resource available on any website as a free or paid download.
  • You may not include Resource or image as part of material for a book, workbook, or any other publication.
  • Resource may not be used as part of a curriculum, program, or event where multiple copies are to be distributed to or accessed by attendees.
  • You may not share, send, sell, sublicense, or transfer the Resource to someone else for their own Personal Use unless you or they purchase a separate Resource, or there is a purchase of an Organizational License.
  • Resource is not to be altered, remixed, built upon, or modified in anyway.  The Mylemarks logo and copyright may not be removed from the Resource.  Text or images within the Resource are copyrighted and are not to be extracted in any way.

Organizational License ($50, $75, $100)

An Organizational License is a license that may only be assigned to a single specific individual user, agency, school, district, or business (“Assignee”) for that Assignee’s lifetime use. Organizational Licenses are non-transferable and may not be used by or reallocated to a different Assignee.  Mylemarks grants the Assignee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Resource for the purposes and under the conditions described below.  

If you purchase an Organizational License, then Mylemarks permits you to:
  • Share the Resource(s) purchased from Mylemarks with members within the same place of employment. Once employee is no longer with the organization, they are no longer eligible to receive resources purchased after their departure.
  • Allow each employee the ability to used purchased resources for their personal, educational, and instructional use only.  Each employee covered under the Organizational License may use purchased resource for their individual study, and to teach, counsel, or mentor an individual, class, or small group.
Unless otherwise expressly permitted by Mylemarks:
  • Resource may not be resold in any way or used for commercial purposes.
  • You may not post or otherwise make the Resource available on any website. You may promote the Resource and include an image of Resource so long as Mylemarks is credited and a link is provided to www.mylemarks.com or corresponding Resource page. You may not make Resource available on any website as a free or paid download.
  • Resource is not to be altered, remixed, built upon, or modified in anyway. The Mylemarks logo and copyright may not be removed from the Resource. Text or images within the Resource are copyrighted and are not to be extracted in any way.
  • You may not include Resource or image as part of material for a book, workbook, or any other publication.
  • Resource may not be used as part of a curriculum, program, or event where multiple copies are to be distributed to or accessed by attendees.

Enhanced License ($50)

An Enhanced License is a license that may only be assigned to a single specific individual user, agency, school, district, or business (“Assignee”) for that Assignee’s lifetime use. Enhanced Licenses are non-transferable and may not be used by or reallocated to a different Assignee.  Mylemarks grants the Assignee a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Resource for the purposes and under the conditions described below.  If Enhanced License is desired for more than one Resource, then multiple licenses must be purchased for each resource.

If you purchase an Enhanced License, then Mylemarks permits you to:
  • Use the Resource in any manner permitted under an Individual License.
  • Incorporate the Resource as part of a material for a curriculum for an ongoing educational program so long as the Resource remains in its original form and credit is provided to Mylemarks.
  • Use the Resource or image of Resource as part of advertising and marketing for events (e.g. fliers, banners)
  • Use the Resource for events where multiple copies are to be distributed to attendees.  

Unless otherwise expressly permitted by Mylemarks:
  • Resource may not be resold in any way.
  • You may not post or otherwise make the Resource available on any website.  You may promote the Resource and include an image of Resource so long as Mylemarks is credited and a link is provided to www.mylemarks.com or corresponding Resource page.  You may not make Resource available on any website as a free or paid download.​
