EmojiGO! (Printable)
Be the first one to get five in a row and yell out EmojiGo!
How To Play
EmojiGo is played similarly to Bingo. Each participant receives an EmojiGo board of their choice. Each board has a Free Space in a unique location. The 39 emoji cards and 6 action cards are shuffled and placed face down in a pile. Play begins by drawing the top card from the deck and flipping it over for all to see.
If a player has that emoji on their EmojiGo board, they will take a chip and cover the square. The goal of the game is to try to get 5 covered squares in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally). The first player to get five in a row is the winner and yells out “EmojiGo!” If there are multiple winners, then play continues between the winners until another 5 in a row is obtained. If deck is completed before a winner is declared, then the discarded cards are reshuffled and play continues.
If an action card is drawn during play, then all players must do the following:
Free Chip: Each player gets to add a chip to any space of their choice.
Bye Chip: Each player can remove a chip of their choice (except the Free Space) from the board of the player to their right.
Set Up
This download contains 6 different EmojiGo boards, 39 emoji cards, and 6 action cards. This download requires printing and cutting. For best results, it is recommended to print in high quality, on card stock, and laminate, if possible, for prolonged use. Included on the last page are chips that can be printed and used to cover spaces if desired. You may also use objects instead (like checker pieces) to cover the squares. If laminated, you can use a dry-erase marker to write an “x” on the squares.
