Turkey Game & Craft
Coloring Page + Game + Craft all in one!
Set-Up:
Print off a turkey cut-out for each person that is participating. Each person can color and decorate their turkey before the game gets started. Turkey feathers will need to be printed and cut out. There should be one of each color available for every participant, e.g., four players = four red feathers, four blue feathers, etc. Blank feathers are provided if participants are wanting to color or design their own feathers. Print and assemble colored dice according to instructions.
Game Play:
The goal of the game is to acquire all 6 feather colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple) to complete your turkey. The first person to do this is the winner.
The game starts by compiling all of the cut-out feathers in the middle of the game play area. Each player places their (feather-less) turkey directly in front of them. The person whose birthday is closest to Thanksgiving goes first, and play continues clock-wise after each turn.
During their turn, the player rolls the dice. Whatever color they land on, they can pick up that color feather from the pile and place it behind their turkey. It is then the next player’s turn. If a player rolls a color that they already have, then they lose a turn and play continues to the next person. The first person to collect all 6 colors to create a complete turkey is the winner!
Craft:
Once the game is over, players can then use glue, tape, or other adhesive to attach their feathers to their turkey to complete the craft!
